CRIF Kredit-Axborot Xizmatlari received a license to establish and operate a credit bureau in Uzbekistan

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan recently granted CRIF Kredit-Axborot Xizmatlari a license to establish the first world-class private credit bureau in Uzbekistan.

CRIF Kredit-Axborot Xizmatlari was founded in partnership with six major banks in the country: Uzbek Industrial and Construction Bank, Asia Alliance Bank, Invest Finance Bank, Ipak Yuli Bank, Ipoteka-Bank and Hamkorbank.

The award of the license is the result of CRIF's continuous efforts for almost 4 years, initially selected as a global player in the credit bureau industry to assist in building a sophisticated modern credit bureau infrastructure. This significant milestone was achieved with the strong support of local shareholders, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - a member of the World Bank Group - and the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
